Happy New Year everyone! I hope you have enjoyed your first few days of 2013. Today I am sharing a recap of last month’s Baltimore Lifestyle & Design (BLD) Meetup Event at Spur Design in Hampden. Illustrator Joyce Hesselberth of Spur Design opened up her studio to us for the event. Being in a creative space definitely adds to the atmosphere! Plenty of ideas and stories were swapped over hummus (lots of hummus!) and wine while we painted scarves. Creative people make great multitaskers!

Towards the end of the evening Joyce took us on a tour of the very cool Spur Design Studio so that we could see there workspace and projects. It was a great night or networking. A special thanks to Ma Petite Shoe, Amy of Charm City Cook, Kollabora, Anorak Magazine, EBK Robots, and Necklush for  contributing treats and prizes to the Baltimore Lifestyle and Design Meetup!
